EXHIBITION I INTERMEZZO I 11.04.2025 - 27.04.2025
Hanna Antonsson’s work combines bird taxidermy, sculpture, and photography, focusing on the coexistence and conflict between nature and technology. Using wings from birds that have died as roadkill, her hybrids are set in motion through electronics or remain as still sculptures merged with scrap car parts. Antonsson’s work explores transformation and the cyclical flow between life and death, reflecting on our impact on nature and other traces of human intervention in the environment. Her works have been exhibited at Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia in Tallinn, Göteborgs Konsthall, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art and Wanda Gallery in Warsaw, FRAC Corsica, Podium in Oslo, Subtitled.nyc in New York, CON_ Gallery in Tokyo and also at LISTE Art Basel, Stockholm Gallery Week, Luxembourg Art week and Warsaw Gallery Weekend.
