EXHIBITION I INTERMEZZO I 11.04.2025 - 27.04.2025
Sanna Lindholm works with sculptural expressions using the wood-turner as a central tool in combination with traditional hand tools such as knives and chisels. Central to her practice is exploring the bond between the lathes production and the cyclic energy of wood, focusing on themes of transformation, movement, and transience. On the lathe, the rotating wood and tool interaction simultaneously destroys and reveals spaces of time, embodying both progress and a connection to the past, highlighting the impermanent and fragile nature of existence.
Based in Gothenburg she graduated in 2018 with a master‘s degree from HDK-Valand, and since then, she has exhibited her work in solo and duo exhibitions at for example Klippan Konsthall, SigtunaFoundation, Trollhättan Konsthall, Galleri Cora Hillebrand, 3:e Våningen and Gallery Black Spruce. Lindholm also works with public art commissions and her work is represented in collections at Gothenburg Art, Falun Municipality, Västra Götaland Region, and more. In recent years, she has been awarded working grants from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and Västra Götaland Region.
