These are animated places of her childhood and youth, locations that either no longer exist, are no longer accessible, or have only ever existed in her childhood imagination.
On one hand, her motivation stems from a desire to honor and remember these places, ensuring they are not forgotten. On the other hand, she aims to show them appreciation, expressing how much they were loved, even if they were uncanny at times. These artworks can be seen as votive offerings of thanks, dedicated to these locations, they question the world of inanimate objects surrounding us by acknowledging their secret little lives.
