The project "Overall" is dedicated to the work itself. Mariona Berenguer uses a series of second-hand overalls, donated by artists and other professionals, to cut them into individual strips of fabric and then reweave them into textile wall pieces.

As a reference to the worker’s body, the overall contains the memory of all the labour, hours and effort invested in an activity, making visible the traces of their efforts. Like all uniforms, it ends the idea of the individual by transforming it into a mass: The contrast between the status of the artist and that of any other profession is dissolved and the overall is aestheticized as a useless object.
